Content Audit
Continuously audit your existing content for AI search visibility — freshness, answer-shape, readability, entity coverage, and brand voice — then fix the gaps.
Content Audit keeps an eye on the content you already have. It builds a unified inventory of your pages, scores each one for how well AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) can read and cite it, and drafts concrete fixes for the issues it finds. Find it under Content Factory → Content Audit.
How it works
- 1Build your inventory — import pages from Reaudit-generated content, WordPress, Shopify, or your sitemap. You can also add individual URLs or upload a CSV.
- 2Pick your checks and run the audit. It fetches each page, extracts the main content (ignoring nav/footer boilerplate), and scores it.
- 3Review the findings, sorted by severity, with a specific issue and recommendation per page.
- 4Generate a fix — a grounded, AI-optimized rewrite for Reaudit-managed pages, or a copyable suggestion for external pages.
The five checks
- GEO answer-shape — Whether the page leads with a direct answer, uses clear headings, and is structured so AI engines can extract and cite it.
- Freshness — How stale the content is, based on its last-modified date.
- Readability — Reading grade level and sentence complexity. Content that is too dense is harder for both readers and AI to parse.
- Entity gap — Whether the page actually names your brand, products, and core topics that AI engines rely on for recommendations.
- Brand voice drift — How closely the page matches your configured brand voice. This check uses LLM credits and is skipped when no brand voice is set in project settings.
Configure your brand voice first
The brand voice check only runs when a writing style / tone of voice is configured under Project Settings. If it is empty, the check is skipped at no cost and the page shows a hint to set it up.
Adding pages manually or by CSV
Beyond the connected sources, you can paste one or more URLs or upload a CSV of URLs. Manually added pages are always audited, even if they look like utility pages, so you stay in control of what gets checked.
Scheduling and credits
You can run an audit on demand or set it to recur on a schedule. The structural checks (answer-shape, freshness, readability, entity gap) are free. Only the brand voice check and fix generation use LLM credits, and the run summary shows exactly how many credits each run consumed. You can delete any past run from the list.
Run it from the AI Agent, Workflows, or MCP
Content Audit is fully agent-operable. Ask the Reaudit AI Agent in plain language, drop the steps into a Workflow, or call them from any MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT). The tools are:
import_content_inventory, run_content_audit, list_content_audit_findings, and generate_content_fix — so an agent can import, audit, triage by severity, and draft fixes end-to-end.
