Mentions Inbox & Badges
Review citation threads and keyword matches, update status, add notes, and understand priority badges.
Two mention types
- AI citation — A Reddit, Stack Overflow, Quora, or other URL that AI engines already cite when answering your tracked prompts.
- Keyword match — A post found because it contained one of your tracked keywords on X, Reddit, YouTube, Hacker News, or LinkedIn.
Working the inbox
- 1Use platform and status filters, or pick a saved view you created earlier.
- 2Click a mention to open the detail panel — full text, author, link, matched keywords, AI category, and sentiment.
- 3Set status to New, Reviewing, Responded, or Archived to track your workflow.
- 4Add internal notes visible to your team on that mention.
Understanding badges
Click How mentions work (?) on the Mentions tab for a live legend. In short:
- Keyword match / AI citation — Where the mention came from.
- High / Medium / Low priority — Combines engagement signals and recency. Keyword-only hits without engagement use a baseline score and may not show a numeric priority badge.
- Sentiment — Positive, neutral, or negative (when classified).
- Category — AI-assigned topic bucket (question, complaint, comparison, etc.).
Notifications
New keyword mentions trigger in-app notifications (bell icon) and increment the Engage Online sidebar badge. Open the notification to jump straight to the mention.
