Presales Projects
Run free 7-day AI visibility demos for prospects, then convert to a paid client project when you win the deal.
Presales projects let agencies pitch prospects with a real AI visibility demo before committing a paid client project slot. Each presales project tracks up to 10 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini for 7 days, without using your plan credits or a regular project slot while it is in presales mode.
Who gets presales projects
- Professional — 3 presales projects per calendar month
- Agency — 10 presales projects per calendar month
- Enterprise — 3 presales projects per calendar month
- Starter and Free Trial — not included
Monthly quota
Your presales quota is consumed when you create a presales project, even if you later convert it to a client project. The quota resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC).
How to create a presales project
- 1Open the project switcher in the sidebar
- 2Click New presales project (or go to /onboarding?mode=presales)
- 3Complete onboarding: brand name, website, and up to 10 prompts
- 4The project appears with a Presales badge in your project list
What is included during the demo
- 7 days of active tracking on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini
- Up to 10 prompts per presales project
- No plan credit usage while tracking is active
- Does not count toward your paid project slot limit while still in presales mode
- Dashboard exports and client visibility PDF reports you can share with the prospect
- AI Agent and MCP access for working the demo
After 7 days: frozen state
When the 7-day tracking window ends, the presales project is automatically frozen. New prompt runs stop, but all collected data, exports, and reports remain available. You can still review results and share deliverables with the prospect.
Convert to a paid client project
When the prospect becomes a client, convert the presales project into a regular client project. This is a one-click action from Project Settings.
- 1Open the presales project
- 2Go to Settings
- 3In the Presales project card, click Convert to client project
- 4If you have a free project slot, conversion completes immediately
- 5If you are at your project limit, you will be prompted to add an Extra Project slot first, then convert
What changes after conversion
- The project counts toward your plan project limit
- All AI engines on your plan become available (not just ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini)
- Prompt and content usage counts against your regular plan credits and limits
- You can add more than 10 prompts and use the full platform for ongoing client work
- The Presales badge is removed from the project

Use presales projects to win deals without tying up paid project slots during the sales cycle. Convert only when the client signs.

- Project switcher — create new presales projects and see remaining monthly quota
- Projects page — filter by Presales to see all prospect demos
- Project Settings — convert to client project, view tracking end date, and prompt count
- Sidebar usage — presales quota shown as used / limit for the current month
