GTM Module 7: AI Agent Readiness

Make your go-to-market ready for the agentic era — get cited and recommended by AI engines, plus a Review & Directory Authority plan and tracker.

Module 7 (AI Agent Readiness) extends your GTM strategy for the agentic era — where AI engines and autonomous agents (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Grok) research, shortlist, and increasingly transact on behalf of human buyers. It builds on your existing research and positioning, so it requires Modules 1 (Research) and 2 (Strategy) to be completed first.

Grounded in your real data

When your strategy is linked to a project with AI visibility tracking, Module 7 is grounded in your actual measurements — visibility score, branded vs non-branded mention rates, competitor share of voice, your machine-readiness scan, and the review domains AI already cites for you.

The 6 Steps

  1. 1AI Agent Buyer Map — Which AI engines/agents mediate buying in your category, the queries they run, and the criteria they weigh
  2. 2AEO/GEO Positioning — Turn your positioning into atomic, evidence-backed claims AI engines can quote
  3. 3Machine-Readable Assets — Structured data, comparison pages, FAQs, and an llms.txt plan so agents can parse and cite you
  4. 4Agent Channel & Conversion — Win the consideration set in AI answers and prepare for agent-to-agent commerce
  5. 5AI Visibility KPIs — Citation rate, AI share of voice, sentiment, and AI-referral targets that close the loop with monitoring
  6. 6Review & Directory Authority — Earn presence on the review sites and directories AI engines cite for your category

Review & Directory Authority (Step 7F)

AI engines treat review sites and directories as trust gatekeepers for commercial and "best X for Y" queries. Brands present across platforms like G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and Google Business Profile are far more likely to be cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. This step generates a business-type-specific plan: a tiered platform matrix, profile-optimization checklist, review-acquisition plan, competitive gap analysis, and a 30/60/90-day timeline.
  • Business-type aware — Set a Business Type when creating a strategy (or let it auto-detect) to get the right platforms: G2/Capterra for B2B SaaS, Google Business/Yelp for local, TripAdvisor for hospitality, Clutch for agencies, and more
  • The tracker — Open the Review & Directory Authority tracker from the Step 7F "Open Tracker" button or the sidebar. Claim profiles, track status (not started / claimed / live), and watch your progress
  • Generate submission copy — For any platform, generate a tagline and description sized to that platform’s character limits (1 credit per generation)

Where to find the tracker

The Review & Directory Authority tracker is available from the sidebar ("Review Authority") and from the "Open Tracker" button at the top of the Step 7F output. It works per strategy, using your business context to recommend the right platforms.
Module 7 output is exported in your strategy PDF, saved to your project knowledge base (so the AI assistant and content tools can use it), and each step can be generated by the in-app AI agent and the Reaudit MCP.
