How Reaudit writes posts for each platform

Where the link goes, how many hashtags, and how each post ends, per platform. Includes the LinkedIn first comment.

Every post Reaudit writes follows the same rules, whether it comes from Broadcast, the composer, a campaign, Content Factory, the AI Agent or an MCP client. The rules follow how each network ranks posts today: where a link costs reach, how many hashtags look like spam, and what kind of ending gets real replies.
Put the page you want to send people to in the Link field, not in the post text. Reaudit adds it when the post is published, with tracking, in the place that works best on each platform:
  • LinkedIn: posted as the first comment. Posts with an outbound link in the text reach fewer people, so the post goes out without it and the link follows straight after as a comment. The post itself makes its full point; it never says "link in comments".
  • X: added to the end of the post. X no longer reduces the reach of posts with links. X counts any link as 23 characters, so the text keeps room for it.
  • Threads, Mastodon, Telegram: added to the end of the post (on a thread, to the last post).
  • Facebook and Bluesky: shown as a link preview card.
  • Instagram and TikTok: links in captions are not clickable, so no URL is added. The copy points people to the link in your bio.

Hashtags

  • LinkedIn: up to 3
  • X: up to 2 (more reads as spam)
  • Threads: 1 topic tag
  • Facebook: up to 3
  • Instagram: 3 to 5 (Instagram allows 5)
  • Pinterest and Reddit: none
Tags from your project's hashtag library are used first. When one text goes to several platforms at once, the strictest limit applies.

How posts end

Posts end with a specific question or a clear point of view people can answer, not "click the link". Engagement bait ("comment YES", "tag a friend", "like if you agree") is never written, because every network now pushes it down.

The LinkedIn first comment

  1. 1Add a link to a LinkedIn post. Under the link you will see LinkedIn: where the link goes with three choices: First comment (recommended), In the post, and Link card.
  2. 2With First comment, a short comment is written for you (one useful detail plus a lead-in such as "The full breakdown, with the data behind each step:"). Edit it as you like. The tracked link is added to it automatically.
  3. 3When the post is published, Reaudit waits a few seconds and posts the comment from the same account (your profile, or the Company Page).
  4. 4If the comment cannot be posted, the post still goes out and you see a warning asking you to add the link as a comment yourself.
You can change the choice per post in the composer, in Broadcast Review, and when editing a draft or scheduled post in Content.

From the AI Agent or an MCP client

Pass the page as linkUrl to generate_social_text; for LinkedIn the result includes a firstComment. cross_post_to_social and update_social_post accept linkPlacement (first_comment, in_post, article) and firstComment. Publishing tools report a warning if the comment failed.
